

Mary "Frances" White was born on December 2, 1933, in Little Rock, Arkansas, she was the oldest of six children born to Carl and Dena Casada. When she was young her family traveled the country working in produce.
She met her late husband Archie White while working at a farm labor camp in Tipton CA. They were married in 1951, in 1959 they moved to the Salinas Valley where they raised their five children. Linda, Jenny, Marilyn, Bill and Bob. In 2006 they relocated to Fresno CA.
Frances worked in a Frozen Food Cannery before dedicating herself to caregiving—a role that reflected her nurturing spirit and commitment to helping others. Her strength and independence were defining traits, as was her loving nature. France’s was generous and welcoming. She shared her home with her mother in law for most of her married life. Over the years numerous siblings, children and other family members and friends lived in her home. When family or friends use to come for a visit and would ask if she had room for them, she would always say “I’ll put you somewhere even if I have to hang you on a nail”. She often gave up her bed so visitors would be comfortable.
Frances found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a passion for gardening, reading, and playing slots and Bingo. In her later years she enjoyed playing games and coloring on her Kindle. Above all else, she treasured spending time with her family, creating countless memories that will be cherished for generations.
The most recent addition to the family, Paisley Frances Kind, was born January 27, 2026, she was thrilled she was named for her.
Frances passed away peacefully on February 20, 2026 at her home in Fresno CA at the age of 92.
She is survived by her sister Velma Langley; her children Linda (Nino) Hernandez, Jenny (Ronnie) Eubanks, Marilyn White, Bill (Lori) White, and Bob (Julie) White; as well as numerous grandchildren: Megan (John) Crutchfield, Ronnie Eubanks, Kristy (Clayton) Clark, Bobby White, Matt White, Halie (Will) Kind, Courtney White, Jamie White, JT White and Shayne Michael; great-grandchildren Shyanne Silva, Destiny (David) Garrett, Billy White, Jesse White, Anthony White, Cali Clark, Caitlin Crutchfield, Mackenzie Crutchfield, Chesney Eubanks, William White, Lainey Kind, Paisley Frances Kind; and great-great-grandchildren Zander Estrada, Levi Garrett, and Zayn Garrett.
Frances was preceded in death by her beloved husband Archie White; her parents Carl and Dena Casada; her siblings Barbara White, Howard Casada, Donnie Casada, Carlene Casada: her grandsons Billy White and James Eubanks
Frances’s legacy of love and determination will live on through the many lives she touched.
