

Born on December 16, 1941 in Blackfoot, Idaho. Mike was the son of Weldon Andrew Seamons and Virginia Mae Turner. He was the third eldest of seven children. Mike married the love of his life, Marneé Call, on June 25, 1976 in Cupertino, CA.
Mike graduated high school in 1959 and immediately enrolled in the United States Air Force where he served for eight years. After leaving the Air Force, he joined the United States Army where he served as a medical corpsman, Army police, and finished his career as a Master Sergeant. During these years he held notable jobs as an officer with the Santa Clara Sheriff’s Dept., Stanford Police Dept. and the State Lottery Commission. His favorite job of all was as a Radio DJ on KBLI Radio and KGVM-FM Radio. Here he enjoyed listening to all his favorite music and chatting with the listeners. He would later be assigned to do all of the voice recordings for the Sheriff’s office and was dubbed “The Velvet Voice” due to his deep soothing speaking voice.
Mike will always be remembered for his love of old cars, music, gentle and patient personality, listening ear, life advice, “Mike-isms”, love of God and his country, he was a patriot to his core. Mike’s greatest and most important accomplishment is his family. Mike was married to Marneé Call Seamons for 48 years. During this time, they raised five kids together. He reveled in his role as a father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Mike is survived by his beautiful wife Marneé; and his children Jared (Brianne) Seamons, Landon (Rebecca) Seamons, Daniel (Lydia) Seamons, Desireé Seamons, and Samantha (Brandon) West. Mike also leaves behind 17 grandchildren (2 grandchildren in-laws), 2 great-grandchildren, brothers Gary, Dwight, Steve and Pat and sister Margaret. He is preceded in death by both his parents and his beloved sister Coralie.
A viewing for Mike will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at 9:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 45 Fowler Ave, Clovis, CA 93611; immediately followed by his funeral service at 10:00 am in the same building.
