Oscar was incredibly proud of his three daughters, each of whom carried the light of his legacy in their own unique way. He admired Hilda for her unwavering reliability and the solid foundation of education she built for herself, always demonstrating a sense of responsibility and commitment. He took pride in Griselda's insightful nature and her diligent pursuit of excellence, always striving to understand the world and the people around her with unmatched focus. And Susanna---Oscar cherished her compassion and empathy, the way she deeply connected with others and truly understood their feelings, always offering a listening ear and a heart full of care. Each of his daughters embodied qualities he held dear, and he celebrated their accomplishments quietly, yet profoundly.

As he left this world, Oscar found peace in knowing that the future of each of his daughters was bright and full of promise. He is survived by his wife, Maria Quintana Tovar, whose steadfast support was a constant in his life. Together, they raised three daughters: Hilda Rodriguez, Griselda Tovar, and Susanna Tovar, each of whom carries forward his legacy in their own way. His three grandchildren---Brandon Martinez, Zachary Martinez, and Lauren Menchaca---were his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them, offering his guidance and unconditional love.

While he may not have sought the spotlight, his memory will shine brightly in the hearts of those who knew him. His legacy is one of quiet strength, dedication, a sharp wit, and the profound impact of a life well-lived.

Oscar is also survived by his brother Servando Tovar, his sister Carmela Bueno, his sister Minerva Zuniga, his sister Lupe Guzman and his sister Olga Fuentes.

Oscar was preceded in death by his brother Jose Tovar and his sister Irene Torres.
