Roberta Ann Wells, known to her family as "Berta", a hard-working and inspirational woman, entered into rest on February 16, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on February 27, 1943, in Hanford, California, Roberta lived a life full of dedication and inspiration, leaving a lasting impact on everyone she met. She was a resident of Hayden, Idaho, at the time of her passing.
Roberta devoted 55 years of her life to the education industry, serving as a teacher for the Clovis Unified School District. Her commitment to education and her students was a testament to her hard-working nature and her passion for inspiring others.
Roberta was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ronald Wayne Wells. She is survived by her sons, Ron Wells, Jr. and Ryan Wells; daughters-in-law, Cheryl Wells and Holly Wells; and her sister, Barbara Swan, along with her brother-in-law, Richard Swan. Roberta's legacy continues through her grandchildren, Dustin Herzog, Taelor Martin, Ronnie Wells, III, Blake Wells, Gage Wells, Maddie Wells, Kenny Wells, Kyndall Dolin, and Kynnedy Dolin, as well as her great-grandchildren, Kinsley Herzog, Hudson O'Brien, Paisley Wells, and Holden O'Brien.
Visitation will be held at Boice Funeral Home, located at 308 Pollasky Avenue, Clovis, California, on February 27, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
A Graveside Service will follow at Clovis Cemetery, 305 North Villa Avenue, Clovis, California, on February 28, 2026, at 9:00 am.
Pallbearers for the service will include Blake Wells, Ronnie Wells, Dustin Herzog, Matthew Martin, Kyle Swan, Alvaro Cobian, and Gage Wells.
In her final words, Roberta encouraged everyone to embrace gratitude, quoting, "Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." 1 Thessalonians 5:18. Her life and legacy will continue to inspire those who knew her.
