Ronald “Ron” Ray Grasmick, 64, passed away on February 12, 2025, in Fresno, California. Born on June 28, 1960, in Fresno, Ron lived a life marked by dedication, faith, and passion for his work and hobbies.
Ron was a devoted and loving father and husband who always put his family first. He led by example, teaching kindness, integrity, and perseverance through his words and actions. Whether offering guidance, encouragement, or simply a listening ear, he was a steady source of strength and wisdom. His love – unconditional, his support – unwavering, and his presence a constant comfort. He leaves behind a legacy of love, cherished memories, and the values he instilled in his children, which will continue to shape their lives for years to come.
Ron began his career as a parts runner for Chevrolet and then worked to become a mechanic. He worked as a mechanic in many capacities over 20 years and worked diligently to become an employee of the Bureau of Automotive Repair, where he dedicated himself for 25 years, ending with the title of Program Representative II. Upon his retirement, his expertise and commitment to consumer protection earned him recognition from the Department of Consumer Affairs.
Beyond his professional achievements, Ron was a man of many talents and interests. He had a deep love for model building and model airplane flying—hobbies that reflected his patience and precision. He was also an accomplished author, having written seven books: *Edwards Folly*, *Interview with Death*, *The Jesus Road Vol. II - 2056*, *What If God Did? – Series; *The Great Commission*, *Vengeance*, *Sacrifice*, *Restoration*, and *Digital Divide*. His writings showcased his creativity and deep reflections on faith and life.
A devout Christian, Ron was an active member of Biola Congregational Church in Biola, California. He was never afraid to share his faith with others and lived by the principles he held dear—compassion, devotion, and kindness.
Ron is survived by his loving wife, Robin D. Grasmick; his children, Samantha N. Khan-Tritt and Shawn E. Grasmick; stepchildren Heather D. Bowman and Matthew E. Hill; granddaughters Elizabeth S. Khan-Tritt and Madeline F. Grasmick; and brothers Walter T. Grasmick and John E. Grasmick.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward C. Grasmick and Nana J. Grasmick, as well as his brother Wayne A. Grasmick.
A Graveside Service will be held on March 4, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Sanger Cemetery in Sanger, California (568 South Rainbow Route). Pastor Tim McDonald will officiate the service as family and friends gather to honor Ron’s life and legacy.
Ron’s memory will live on through the lives he touched with his kindness, wisdom, and unwavering faith.
