Sal, I always looked up to you. Strong and kind.  I remember how great you were with your hands. I learned a lot from you. I was there helping you pour the foundation of your home. I was amazed you could build a home,  later in life you took the time to talk to me and my kids at Carrow’s, having walked to care and you came back in the restaurant to meet my boys.  You have a wonderful family. I will miss you. Rest In Peace.

Thank you papa for teaching me life lessons and thank you for telling me all of your stories of how strong you were when you were young. But I remember how we would ride the golf cart and always go to the backyard and watch the sun go down. I love you papa I hope you are doing well up there

Sal was initiated into Operating Engineers Local 3 in 1966, had over 55 years of service and was an Honorary Member.

Well Nati, like I said before , I couldn’t have asked for a better father-in-law, you & Sal have always been great to all of us, he has taught us so many things, one course is having respect for others, like Steven said to Steve and I “ I remember how grandpa would always get up from  his chair and give it up to anyone who came to visit , welcoming them with open arms, and always asking us how we are doing and how work is going”. I have learned a lot from him, and how important it was to get up early to start your day, with a positive out look on life .. God has given him peace , and may god continue to bless you and guide you Nati . Love Nancy

Sal was an amazing man. He was such a caring man. He had his own health issues, but that never stopped him from working hard all the time and caring for his family and his neighbors and friends. He always kept an eye out for anything happening in the neighborhood. He was truly admirable. Rest in peace, Sal.

Rest in peace my friend! I have so many great memories from my younger days with you and your family. Sal is a big part of who I am today and will never forget your mentoring and care you showed me. When I was 16, and working with him up and down the state and even in Colorado he told me many times "Marcos I am going to make a man out of you". I can only hope to be half the man Sal was! My deepest condolences to the Family :(
