I had the honor to work for Walt as a boiler operator at Gallo Winery. He was a honest and fair man as a supervisor over us. I’m am deeply saddened that you and your family have lost him. I will always remember him. Victor Hernandez.

Grandpa there’s nothing I wouldn’t give to have you back! I miss you so much. I miss coming over and walking by the den seeing you seeing at the computer, or talking to you in the garage while you painted your model cars. I miss hearing you say “I love you sugar.” Or “I’ll give you a yankee dime.” “See you later alligator,” When we’d leave. I miss you telling me to “make up my mind” because I’m so indecisive sometimes. Thank you for being the best grandpa. I wish I could just call you one last time to tell you I love you! You mean so much to me and Taytum. I love you so much grandpa.

We took this photo the end of my sixth grade year, the same year he retired. We spent that whole summer swimming, going to the water park, getting ice cream cones from foster freeze, Playing catch outside, and having sleepovers. 
Vanilla cones won’t be the same without you.

I love you grandpa &  Miss you so much. I remember every summer I’d spend it with you, when I was a little girl. I was so excited to spend all summer with you. Go to grandma & grandpas for the summer. That’s one memory I’ll always remember of many I have when I was little. I love you grandpa.

My deepest condolences to the family. I'm one of his step grandson I was about 9 years old when I became apart of his family don't remember how old I was but one Christmas we went over to Walters home I didn't expect anything cause I was a step grandson but he had such a heart went into his own collection of hot wheels and gave me a hand full still in the blister package. Yes I still have them and when I see them I remember like it was yesterday. Thank you for such a good memory that I will always cherish. 
Thank you Walter you will always be remembered.

Papa gave the best hugs. My last birthday with you was my favorite. I Love and miss you so much. It’s not the same without you.
