Carol Robin (Selstad) Buford was born October 16, 1956 in Houston, Texas to Robert and Janet Hathorn Selstad and died April 8, 2012 in Temple, Texas at the age of 55 years, 5 months and 23 days. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Angleton where she sang in the choir. She loved life and music. She married John Edgar Buford on April 25, 1981 in Angleton, Texas and he preceded her in death on April 5, 2011. She is also preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by daughters, Janet Sossamon and her husband, Richard of Temple, Texas, Kari Gaynor and her husband, Johnathan of Abilene, Texas and Kristi Buford of Angleton, Texas; brother, Thomas Paul Selstad of Alvin; sister, Susan Crick and her husband Kevin of Austin. Family will receive friends Friday evening, April 13, 2012 at Restwood Funeral Home in Clute, beginning at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church in Angleton. A private burial will follow in the Restwood Memorial Park, Clute, Texas.
