Catherine Belle (Chitwood) Kline

Catherine Belle Kline, also known as “Tippy” as a young child, was born to Fydella Mae and Ted Dickson on January 31, 1938 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Catherine passed away at her home in Lake Jackson, Texas on October 23, 2012. Catherine married the love of her life, Dewayne Chitwood of Wilson, Oklahoma in 1952, and soon after moved to the Brazosport Area. They were married 27 years and were blessed with five wonderful children. Guy Dewayne Chitwood and Brian David Chitwood, her two sons who passed before her, have been dearly missed. After Dewayne passed away in 1979, she married Kenneth Kline of Bay City, Texas. She is survived by her children, Vicki Sagissor of Bay City, Texas, Cindy Polk and husband Fred of Pueblo, Colorado, and Denise Holtzclaw and husband Don of Lake Jackson, Texas; grand children, Marcella Chitwood Autry of Hutto, Texas, Shawn Janise, Ashley Herrera, and Justin Janise of Bay City, Texas, Jeremy Polk of Pueblo, Colorado, Jonathan Polk of Houston, Texas, Lee Ann Polk of Dallas City, Illinois, Paige Holtzclaw of Lake Jackson, Schelli Sullivan of Lakeway, Texas, and Tess Holtzclaw of Lake Jackson; along with ten great grand children; her two sisters, Arlene and husband Roy Austin of Lake Jackson, Mary Lou Measles of San Diego, California, and brother, Donald Dickson of Ardmore, Oklahoma. Catherine has been a loving wife, sister, mother and a dear friend to many throughout her lifetime. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. An outdoor memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2012, 6:00 p.m. at Restwood Memorial Park with Pastor, Rick Helguero officiating.
