Celia Serna Vasquez

She was born to Perfecto and Elena Serna on August 19, 1947 in Donna, Texas.

Celia Serna Vasquez became a Christian in 1998 and loved to serve her lord and savior. She loved spending time with her family, having bar-b-q's, listening to music, and dancing; she was always the life of the party. Celia was the rock of her family and glue that held them together. She is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her family and many others.

She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Lee Vasquez Sr. and daughter Maria Elena Vasquez.

Celia is survived by Irma Rodriguez and husband Sixto, Norma Gonzalez, and Robert Lee Vasquez, Jr. and wife Leslie. Grandchildren,Stephanie R., Brenda M., Janette M., Amie V., Priscilla V., Anthony Jr., Reynaldo E., Amaya R., Maria G., Victoria T., and Royce V. Great-grandchildren, Jacella V., Gabriel B., Alizay B., Elayah G., Xavier M., Mila M., and Elianna R.

A Gathering to Share Memories of Celia's Life will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at Restwood Funeral Home in Clute, TX from 5 to 7 p.m. A Celebration of Celia's Life will be on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Restwood Funeral Home beginning at 10 a.m. The graveside service will be held at Restwood Memorial Park immediately following the celebration of life service.

Serving as pallbearers will be Joe Mundo, Andres Serna, Sixto Rodriguez, Anthony Gonzalez Jr., Noe Serna, and Armando Serna
