Francisca was born to Luciano and Guadalupe Lozano on November 23, 1938, in Matamoros Tamaulipas, Mx
Francisca married Leonel De Leon in Matamoros Tamaulipas, Mexico on September 25, 1954.
She worked as a housewife attending her eight children at their ranch in El Ejido La Venada, Matamoros Mexico. Once she and all her children attained their visas in 1969 they ventured to Brownsville, TX then Ruskin Florida. Francisca worked as a migrant worker in the tomato fields and also worked as a Florist in Palmetto, Florida, then in 1974 she moved to Kingsville, TX. In 1989 she became a United States citizen. On February 14, 2014 she moved to Clute after losing her husband of 60 years and has lived in Clute since. She had a passion for cooking, gardening and dancing, she loved red roses. She enjoyed shopping and getting dolled up, she loved lunches at El Toro after manicures and pedicures with granddaughters. She loved wearing red lipstick and pearls. She had a contagious smile that would light up a room; she had never met a stranger. She would bless anyone that crossed her path, including nurses and Dr’s. She had a special bond with all her nieces, nephews’ grandchildren, daughters-in-laws and son -in laws, she would always give them blessings and tell them she loved them as they were her own children.
Francisca is preceded in death by Spouse, Leonel De Leon, Parents Luciano and Guadalupe Lozano, all 8 of her brothers and Sisters. She was the last living family member of the Lozano siblings.
Francisca is survived by Children, Son Jose Luis De Leon (Isabel), Daughter Maria Teresa Johnson (Ramiro), Daughter Maribel Velez (Guadalupe †), Son Mario De Leon (Melissa), Daughter Marisela Garcia, Son Leonel De Leon Jr. Son Jaime De Leon (Cindy), Son Cornelio De Leon. She also raised 3 of her sisters son’s which she adored with all her heart. She had a special bond with Ramiro Garcia and Peter Garibay as she would tell them she loved them as her sons.
21 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. She lived to see 5 generations.
Serving as pallbearers are Grandsons, Cornelio De Leon, Guadalupe Velez, Gerardo Velez, Gilbert Velez, Mark De Leon, JJ De Leon, Diego De Leon, and RJ Lozano.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jose Luis De Leon, Mario De Leon, Leonel De Leon Jr, Jaime De Leon, and Peter Garibay.
A visitation will be held Monday, September 24, 2023 at Family Life Church (220 Lake Rd Lake Jackson

A visitation and Rosary will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at Turcotte Piper Mortuary (205 General Cavazos Blvd Kingsville, Texas 78363 361-592-9394) from 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. The rosary will begin at 7:00 P.M.
A funeral mass will be held Thursday, September 28, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Good Counsel (1102 E Kleberg Ave Kingsville, Tx 78363) and will be followed by a committal at Santa Gertrudis Cemetery (835 W Caesar Ave Kingsville, Tx 78363)
