Guadalupe Ortiz Rodriguez

Guadalupe Ortiz Rodriguez 72 years old of Clute, Texas received her wings on October 12, 2021. We are here to celebrate her life. She was born to Eusebia and Pedro Ortiz in Mexico on October 8, 1948. She married Jose Luis Rodriguez on April 2nd, 1970 in Acuna Coah, Mex.

Guadalupe was a caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a caregiver for her husband Jose who is bed bound due to his stroke in 2014. She would also help care for grandchildren and great grandchildren during the summer and after school hours. Guadalupe enjoyed family holidays and get togethers, loteria, bingo, and the game rooms. She was a very loving, kind woman, strong willed woman, and will be missed dearly.

Guadalupe is survived by her husband of 51 years Jose Luis Rodriguez, her son Jose Juan (Christina)Mendez, daughter Rosa Elia Rodriguez, son Luis Alberto Rodriguez, daughter Veronica (Jose)Rodriguez, daughter Maria Teresa (Guillermo) Reyes, son Jose Raul (Claudia) Rodriguez, son Jorge (Mayra) Rodriguez. Grandchildren Jorge, Joey, Emily, Mary, Junior, Victor, Alejandro, Brianna, Renee, Yesenia, Manuel & Carmen, Francisco, Miguel & Abby, Consejo, Ruby & Bobby, Angela, Jose, Mario, Alex & Monique, Rogelio, Jaqueline & Emmanuel. Great grandchildren Sophie, Camilla, Jamar, Antonio, Jaime, Aleyna, Miguel Jr. Yamilet, Andres, Mila, Hector, Crickett, James Jr. Elizabet, & Genesis.

Serving as Pallbearers will be her Sons; Jose Juan Mendez, Luis Alberto Rodriguez, Jose Raul Rodriguez, Jorge Rodriguez.

Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be her Grandsons; Bobby Jean Miller, Francisco Hernandez, Jorge Rodriguez Jr.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at 1pm to 7pm at Restwood Funeral Home. Service to celebrate Guadalupe’s life will be held at 9:45am Restwood Funeral Home following to St. Jerome mass at 10:30am on Wednesday, October 20, 2021.
