Harvey Pearl Richards, 85, of Lake Jackson, Texas, a long time resident of 67 years, passed away Monday, February 20, 2012 at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, TX. She is survived by daughters Darlene Tracy (Mike) of Lake Jackson, TX, Linda Stearns (Joe) of Eagle, CO and Wanda Jernigan (Ken) of Kingwood, TX; four grandchildren, Mike Tracy, Jr. (Gidget), Rick Tracy (Amy), Mark Tracy (Jenny), Kendra Haedge (Philip) and by six great grandchildren Emily Tracy, Zachary Tracy, Tab Tracy, Caden Tracy, Madlyn Tracy, and Hayden Haedge. She was preceded in death by husband, Orville Richards, parents, Harvey and Nellie Hobbins, three sisters and two brothers. Pallbearers will be Mike Tracy, Jr., Rick Tracy, Mark Tracy, (grandsons); Zachary Tracy (great-grandson); Philip Haedge (grand-son-in-law); and Jason Tracy (family friend). Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Tracy, Sr., Joe Stearns, and Ken Jernigan (son-in-laws).

“Gommie”as she was affectionately called, was devoted to her children, cherished by her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and loved by all who came in contact with her. Visitation will be Thursday, February 23, 2012, 6:00pm to 8:00pm. A Funeral Service to celebrate her life will commence at 2:00pm on Friday, February 24, 2012, at Restwood Funeral Home Chapel.
