Jacob Bruce Picard

Jake was a loving son, grandson, brother, cousin and friend to so many. He loved his family as well as his friends….and most who knew him would describe him as always smiling and ready to help out anyone in any way that he possibly could.

He loved to fish and hunt, especially with his brothers and cousins….or friends whom he considered his family. He loved to spend time with his family and friends, whether it

be on holidays, special occasions or just “hanging out” with those he loved. He touched so many lives with his big smile and loving heart.

Jake is survived by his parents, Johnny Picard (Sandy), Susan Hays (Eric), siblings, Chad Picard, Trey Picard, Nicholas Neel, Shane Jester(Letty), Brian Jester, Hollie Wood (Adam) Jodi McDonald (Wilkins) . The lights of his life, his nieces and nephews, Marlee Ann Picard, Jaxon James Sanger-Picard, Noah Jester, Grace Jester, Eve Jester, Kavian Jester, Makenna Jester, Victoria McDonald and Lorelei Wood. Grandparents, “Memaw”Joyce Picard, “Mommy Too”Ann and “Pap” Jim Tunnell and “GrandBetty” Betty Ann Hays, & “Nana Mac” Maxine Gibson as well as his aunts and uncles and his best buddies forever, his many cousins and “brothers from another mother”.

Jake was greeted in heaven by his grandfathers,” Grandpa”, Jake (J.C.) Picard and “Grandaddy”, Robert Bruce Hays.

Jake and his brilliant smile will forever remain a light in our hearts.

Visitation will be from 5-7 PM, Wednesday, November 20 and services will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 21 at Restwood Funeral and Memorial Park in Lake Jackson.
