Juanita Gutierrez, 92, of Clute TX passed away on May 19 2015 with her family surrounding her. Nita was born on August 29 1922 to loving parents Roberto & Julia Nava, in Bentonville TX. Nita married Oscar Gutierrez in Kingsville, TX in February of 1948.
Nita loved her family and will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.
Nita is preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Gutierrez Sr., and a son, Steven Gutierrez.
Nita is survived by her daughter Sandra (husband Tommy) Duffee; son Oscar (wife Judy) Gutierrez; and 8 grandchildren, and many other family and friends.
A visitation will be held from 9am on Thursday May 21 2015, with funeral services beginning at 11am, at Restwood Funeral Home.
Nita will be laid to rest in Houston National Cemetery.
