

June Marie Jolly, 79, of Lake Jackson, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2025. She was born on June 20, 1945, in Jacksonville, Florida, and graduated from Andrew Jackson High School in 1964. In the late 1960s, she moved to Tennessee before settling in Texas in the 1970s, where she made a loving home.
June worked at Intermedics, where she met and married the love of her life, Roger Jolly. After a fulfilling career, she retired from Kay Tec to embrace her greatest joy—being a grandmother and great-grandmother. June was a devoted woman of faith, and her church community was a big part of her life. She dedicated many hours to volunteering, particularly managing the weekly PowerPoint for the church sermon.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roger Jolly; her great-grandson, Klayten Sollock; her parents, George Painter Sr. and Minnie Painter; and her siblings, Edward Painter, Katherine Painter, Charles Painter, Alice Painter, Albert Painter, George Painter Jr., and Richard Painter.
June is survived by her daughter, Kelly Mueck; granddaughter, Dusti Sollock and her fiancé Bryan Capristo; great-granddaughters Karli & Khloe Sollock, and Madalynn Capristo; grandson, Cody Mueck and his wife, Meagan Mueck, along with their children Tyde and Milo Mueck; daughter, Lois Scarlett and her husband, Shannon Scarlett; and granddaughter, Samantha Ortega. She is also survived by her siblings, Charlotte Painter, Dewey Painter Sr., and James Painter, as well as many nieces and nephews who will forever cherish her memory.
A memorial service for June will be held Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Restwood Memorial Park, 1038 W Plantation Dr, Clute, TX 77531, followed by a committal service from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM.
