Macario Guel Ramirez, May 15, 1939 – October 8, 2011, resident of Freeport, Texas. After battling with cancer for the second time Macario passed away peacefully, at his home. Macario was born and raised in Matamoros, Mexico. Macario will forever be remembered by his loving wife of 50 years Lidia Guel and beloved children, Jose M. Guel, Rene Guel, Ana Zapata, Nereyda de la Cruz, Amelia Morales, Susana Gomez and Noelia Brown; 26 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and countless brothers, sisters, friends and family who were blessed to have known him. His hobbies were to fish, play the accordion, read the bible and fix lawn mowers. He loved eating at his favorite restaurant, Ryan’s in Lake Jackson. But he loved his wives cooking even more. But, what we will most remember him by, preaching the Lord’s word. We would like to thank friends and family for their love and support.
“Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever” ~ Psalm 125:1
