Margaret Louise Murrell age 80, of Magnolia, TX, passed away on January 16, 2025. Margaret was born to John Rastus Walters and Mary Ole Thompson on May 18, 1944, in Texas City, Texas. Margaret married Norris in Freeport, TX on August 25, 1962.
Margaret and Norris raised their 2 daughters in New Caney, Texas. They spent most of the weekends in the summer on Lake Livingston water skiing and spending time with their friends. Then later moved to Brenham where Margaret and Norris operated a Bed and Breakfast together for 6 years. They then retired and enjoyed traveling, spending time with grandchildren and of course decorating the yard for Christmas.
Margaret is Survived by her daughters Kim and Kelly along with their husbands Joe and Fred; and 4 grandchildren, Timothy, Hunter, Travis and Samantha; and 4 great grandchildren; her brothers Billy Walters, Jim Walters and sister Betty Walters.
Serving as pallbearers are her Grandchildren and Son-In-Laws.
A Visitation will be held at Restwood Funeral Home on Saturday January 25, 2025 starting at 11am, with a Celebration of Margaret's life starting at 12pm, followed by the graveside service.
