Marietta Holden was born on December 25, 1927, and passed away on January 30, 2020, at the age of 92. She was known as a mother figure in her community and church, and for her vibrant personality, love of life, and she lived in a way that taught all the love of God. She was preceded in death by her husband Lindbergh F. Holden, by her daughter Ruth Bly, by her parents John & Emma Ramsey Respass, and by 14 of her siblings. She is survived by two of her daughters: Lynnette Harvill and her husband Woody of Lake Jackson, TX., and Beth Vanderhoofven and her husband Wes of Missouri City, TX., and by her grandchildren, Misti Flores and her husband Bobby, Trey Harvill and Nikki Thompson and her husband Ben, and by her great-grandchildren Ethan Flores, Evan Flores and Elouise Thompson, and her sister Ruth Hill.
