Mark Randall Daughrity

Mark Randall Daughrity, 57, of Lake Jackson TX passed away on March 28, 2016 in his home with his family surrounding him. Mark was born on January 28, 1959 to loving parents Robert & Ann Daughrity in Freeport. Mark married Kathlyn “Kathy” Heard in Lake Jackson on June 2, 1984.

Mark was a trainer with the 1974 Brazoswood State Championship Football team. Mark graduated from Texas A&M in 1982. Mark worked at DOW Chemical for 24 years on the Fire & Rescue Team. He was also a longtime volunteer with the Lake Jackson Volunteer Fire & EMS, as well as with the Clute EMS Department.

Mark is preceded in death by his parents.

Mark is survived by his loving wife of more than 31 years, Kathy Daughrity; daughters Sarah (Paul) Park, Hailey (Brady) Johnson; his brothers Michael (Kayleen) Daughrity, Mitchell Daughrity, Robert Jr. (Lea Anne) Daughrity; and his grandchild Mance Michael Park; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

The family requests memorial donations be considered for the Huntingtons Disease Society of America.

Visitation of Friends and Family will be held at Restwood Funeral Home on Wednesday March 30, 2016 at 6pm.

Funeral Services will be held at 1st Baptist Church of Lake Jackson at 11am on Thursday March 31, 2016.

Mark will be laid to rest in Restwood Memorial Park immediately following funeral services.
