

Mary Lou Crosson, 85, of Lake Jackson Texas, peacefully went to be with our Lord March 20, 2024, surrounded by her family. Mary was born December 20, 1938, in Cardwell Missouri to the late Hervel D and Ada Belle Davidson.
Mary moved to Sweeny Texas in 1950 with her family where she met the love of her life, Jerrel Crosson. They married November 1, 1959.
Mary loved to travel to the Texas Hill Country every Spring to view the bluebonnets. Mary’s passion was cooking; especially baking cookies with her grandchildren. She was a devout Christian and long-time member of the First Baptist Church of Clute where her and her sisters Anita and LaDonna founded the annual Widow and Widower’s Luncheon.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents Hervel D and Ada Belle Davidson; sister LaDonna Lewis; brother-in-law Bill Richey; nephews Darrell Richey and Chris Davidson.
Those left to cherish the memory of Mary are her husband Jerrel Crosson; Sons Jeff Crosson (Barbara), Scott Crosson (Kelley), James Crosson (Pebbles); Grandchildren Jennifer Raasch (Wade), Jimmy Dee Crosson, Jaylynn Shockley (Morgan), Colby Lawrence, Holly Hopkins, Taylor Zapalac (Jarod), Brooke Lawrence, Kynnadi Grace Correll (Blake); Great Grandchildren Guy Alan Raasch, Jesse Ann Raasch, Tex Alan Raasch, Levi Travis Hopkins, Ella Bradlee Zapalac, Lily Brooke Zapalac, and Collyns Taylor Lawrence; Siblings Lillie Richey, Anita Briggs (Gene), Dwayne Davidson (Deborah), Dwight Davidson (Susie); Brother-in-law LeRoy Lewis. Along with many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Monday, March 25, 2024, at the First Baptist Church of Clute at 5pm – 7pm. The funeral will be held Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at the First Baptist Church of Clute at 11am. Burial will immediately follow at Restwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Wade Raasch, Guy Raasch, Colby Lawrence, Morgan Shockley, Jarod Zapalac and Corey Davidson.
