Mary had more love in her heart than anyone I know. She was always there for her family and anyone who needed her. All she wanted was a family and love, and she had both. I am so thankful for the short time we were together and I will always love her. My heart is full of sadness and I think I’ve cried every day since she passed. I miss her so much. 
Mary, I will never forget or get over you. You were always there for me, no matter what. You loved life and everyone you met. Your heart was your strength and through your strength, you changed my life. You were the backbone of our family. 
Bye, my love, and until we meet again, I will love you forever.

For those who knew and loved my sister, Mary, she was a “constant” in our lives. One we knew could always count on. I am so very thankful for the time I had with her and for our many, meaningful conversations throughout the years. She often helped “fill in the blanks” for me of our family history. She loved her family and friends deeply and it was apparent by the way she spoke to us and about us, to others. She accepted everyone for who they were and she loved unconditionally. She asked for nothing in return, only to be treated with respect, as she did toward others. She truly was “loving” to the core. She readily forgave transgressions and always sought ways to bring healing to a troubled or broken relationship. She encouraged others to do the same. To have no regrets. 
I’m going to miss my big Sis and until we’re all together again, I’ll think of her every time I see hummingbirds and beautiful flowers. ❤️
To Danny, DJ, Darrell, your children and the entire family, I pray God’s peace and comfort over you all as He heals your broken hearts.

I was adopted when I was a baby. I searched for my biological family and Mary was the first person I can in contact with. I am related to her husband, uncle Danny. She told me all about my biological family, what happened and why. She was the closest thing I had to a mother figure and my heart is broken. I will always keep her in my heart.

We had fun painting and being silly(like sisters do). I will miss you but cherish every single  memory with you.  You made me a better person with your perspective and grace that you showed toward others.  You called it….”taking a broad view”  The heart you had for people always amazed me.  You touched so many lives. Heaven brought a beautiful soul into its kingdom. ♥️Patricia

My cousin, Mary Jo Thompson, has left us to go the Lord. She will be so missed.
We grew up together, she was only 2 years younger than me.
I won’t be able to call her anymore. I talked to her on her birthday in December and again  on the day before she was taken away from us.
I’m glad I had that last talk with her. I wasn’t even aware of her having open heart surgery. She saidd she didn’t call because she didn’t want to worry me. 
That was Mary always thinking of others
She had the biggest heart and would help anyone who needed it. 
She had 2 sons and lots of grandchildren that she adored. 
Her husband loved her so deeply and my heart is breaking for him and their rest of her family.
I love you so much Mary and I will miss you so much.

Mary, Mary, Mary!!!   You will certainly be missed. I will miss our 2-3 hour phone calls and the promises of getting together soon ….  I’m sure you know how happy I am to have been able to visit with you
     Mary was a wonderful person and friend. She was always there for everyone any time of day or night. No matter who you were or what you needed. She was a very loyal friend to the end 
and it didn’t matter how you treated her. She was back and standing in your corner 
Danny and all of you boys, have no doubt how deep the love she had for all of you and your kids. She was extremely proud of all of you. I don’t believe you will ever find anyone else to love all of you as deeply as she did   Love to all of you and many many prayers for comfort for all of you. Always. Wendy

My cousin , Mary Jo Thompson left and went to meet the lord. 
We grew up together and she was only 2 weeks younger than I am. 
I loved her very much and will greatly miss her. 
My condolences to Danny Thompson, her husband, and their 2 children DJ and Darrell. Her sisters are Teresa and Patricia. She has many grandchildren also. 
She will be greatly missed.
