

Artemio (Temo) Alanis Sr., 52 years old of Clute, TX passed away on April 21, 2021. Artemio was born on February 22, 1969 in Dr. Coss Nuevo León, Mexico to the late of Alfonso and Inocencia Alanis. Spouse of 32 years, Olympia (Oly) Pauline Alanis, 48 years old of Clute, TX reunited along beside him 8 days later on April 29, 2021. Olympia was born October 4, 1972 in Angleton, TX to the late Manuel and Maria “Celia” Peña.
Artemio was preceded by his Mother Inocencia Alanis, Niece Priscilla Alanis, and Son Andrew Alanis.

Survived by their children Oscar Alanis, Emily Alanis, Artemio Alanis, Aidan Alanis and grandchildren. Numerous brothers and sisters.
Artemio was an amazing brother, husband, father, and grandfather. He loved his children and grandchildren so much. He would pass on his craft knowledge and talents to teach them everything he knew. For many years, Artemio was a Construction Foreman which takes a role of leadership skills and a great amount of experience. Artemio was given the ability to direct the work of others and make diligent decisions. He was highly respected and admired by many, not only in the aspect of his career but also as his own independent contractor. He was a man of many talents, if you knew Artemio’s demeanor, you knew that there was never a day that he wasn’t working. Majority of his passion and joy would be in remolding and renovating. Adding value to structures and transforming homes was one of his greatest and many achievements. Artemio was a great role model and he would strive to be for his children. He will be truly missed by his children and many more. The knowledge that was given by him will never be forgotten. Artemio was the number 6 out of the 11 siblings. When it came to craft work, he was the one to call and ask any questions. He was always available and would try to help out anyone he could. During his busy work and renovation schedule, his wife Olympia was a stay at home mom. Making sure the family and him were being well taken care of.
Olympia was an astonishing sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a devoted mother that would put her children first and enjoyed spending time with them and her grandchildren. She was the one you would consider the family support system and the heart and soul of the family. Olympia was the last born (the baby) of the 13 siblings and everyone knows that the baby is the favorite. Olympia was an outgoing person, who loved 80s music and especially loved to dance. She loved to dance so much, that back in her youngest days, she was a break dancer and was able to out dance anyone. Olympia was a very smart and knowledgeable person. She was the one person you would always want to call and talk to about any advice or questions. She wouldn’t hesitate to help out in any way she could. She was there every step of the way for her husband, children and grandchildren. Olympia is one who will be truly missed by many.
Artemio and Olympia had a blessed marriage of 32 years. Their marriage was full of love, laughter and full of life. It is beyond words to describe their type of character. They were even willing to offer a home to the penniless and do everything they could to assist in any way. Artemio and Olympia’s blessed marriage and strong love will forever continue in the gates of heaven being reconnected with their beloved son Andrew Alanis. They will be forever be in our hearts and be missed by many.
Pallbearers for Olympia will be brothers, Manuel S. Pena, Ruben Pena, Johnny Pena, and Albert Pena; son, Artemio Alanis; and nephew, Ignacio Cosme.
Pallbearers for Artemio will be brothers, Alfonso Alanis, Jose Alanis, Tomas Alanis, and Raul Alanis; and sons, Aidan and Oscar Alanis.
A viewing will be held Thursday on May 6, 2021 at Restwood Dignity Funeral Home at 4pm-5pm for Family and 5pm-7pm for family and friends
A private service for family ONLY will be held Friday on May 7, 2021 at 10am-11am.
Burial to follow, friends and family please join us at the Mausoleum after the private service.
The family asks that all attendees follow CDC guidelines. Mask will be required at all times during the services.
There are no events scheduled after the funeral services due to the COVID-19. Thank you for understanding.
