

He was preceded in death by his mother, Olivia Torres and brother Joe Henry Gonzalez.
Roque was a devoted family man. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who brought him endless pride and joy. Whether it was sharing laughs, telling stories, or taking road trips with family, those moments meant the most to him. Roque will be remembered for his sense of humor, hardworking spirit, and the unwavering love he had for his family.
Roque married the love of his life, Rosa Garcia, on November 23, 1968. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran whose dedication and strong work ethic reflected the hardworking man, his family knew and loved.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rosa Segovia; his children, Lisa Salazar and husband Gregorio, Ronda Juarez and husband Kino, and Roque Segovia Jr. and wife Kristie Williams; his grandchildren, Krystal Salinas, Jonathan Salinas, Sabra Segovia, Gabby Juarez-Elizondo, Sheyla Juarez, Greg Salazar Jr., Julissa Juarez, Anabel Salazar, Jacob Salazar, Daniel Salazar, and Andrew Segovia; and his great-grandchildren, Alisa Salinas, Jonathan Roque Salinas Jr., Josiah Salinas, Evan Thomas, Melanie Rodriguez, Martin Rodriguez Jr., Miranda Rodriguez, Aria Elizondo, Leandro Juarez, and Mirabel Rodriguez.
Roque’s legacy lives on through the many lives he touched with his laughter, guidance, and love.
Visitation will be held March 12, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Restwood Funeral Home in Clute, Texas.
A Mass will be held March 13, 2026, at 12:00 PM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Brazoria, Texas, with funeral services to follow at Restwood Funeral Home.
Roque will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
