Stephanie Leigh "G" Gaona

Stephanie “G” Gaona, age 19, went to be with her Lord on March 19, 2012. She was born on December 24, 1992 in Lake Jackson, Texas to Antonio and Sophia Gaona. She was a 2011 graduate of Brazoswood High School and was currently attending Texas A&M – Kingsville. During her school years, she enjoyed playing basketball and softball. She built many long-lasting friendships along the way that blessed her life. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Gualberto Castro. Surviving relatives are her parents; brothers, Anthony Lucas Gaona, Dustin Michael Gaona; paternal grandparents, Juan T. and Lucia Gaona; maternal grandmother, Dr. Sylvia V. Castro. Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, March 23, 2012 from 3:00 pm until 6:30 pm. A recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 6:30 pm following the visitation. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am Saturday, March 24, 2012 at St. Jerome Catholic Church with Father Jim Lynes officiating. Burial will follow at Restwood Memorial Park with John R. Gaona, Dr. Pablo Garces, Edmund Michael Colin, Arron Ernest Ortega, Ernest Duane Collin and Elias Juan Collin serving as pallbearers. Online condolences may be left at www.restwoodfuneralhome.com.
