Steven Louis Hunt

Steven Louis Hunt was born December 22, 1969 in Baytown, Texas to Herman Leon Dunn and Thelma Eileen Horacefield and died Wednesday April 25, 2012 in Galveston, Texas at the age of 42 years, 4 months and 3 days. Steven loved to fish, play with his nieces and nephews and any other children that may be around. He enjoyed working with the homeless, trying his best to show them that God did care for them and ministering to them and the poor. He was always challenging someone to a cook-off…sometime he won, sometimes he did not! He loved being outdoors and worked in the construction field as a crane operator. He was one of the BIGGEST Dallas Cowboys fan and had a bigger than life personality. He was a BIG kid! He was opinionated and was like a big brother, always offering advice, whether it was right or wrong, he would give you his thoughts. He loved Jesus Christ and all that knew him, the past few years, knew that about him. He gave new meaning to the Bible verse about “iron sharpening iron”. He loved his family and kids.The family will receive friends and have a visitation Sunday, April 29, 2012, at Restwood Funeral Home from 4:00 until 6:00 pm. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am Monday, April 30, 2012, at the Vineyard Church of Brazosport, 120 Silver Bell Circle, Lake Jackson.
