Vanessa Rae Clifton

Vanessa Rae Clifton was born on July 25, 2010, in Galveston, Texas. She was taken from this earth on September 5, 2015.

Left to cherish her memory are her father, James Clifton; and sister, Madison, of Clute; her mother, Nancy McCraven, of Demi John Island; aunt, Margarett Clifton, of Sweeny; uncle, Jimmy; and aunt, Delaine Clifton, of Clute; grandfather, Jim Clifton, of Jones Creek; along with numerous cousins, friends, and extended family.

“My daughter Vanessa always gave me the biggest hugs and kisses. She loved life and treated every day like a new adventure. She loved absolutely everyone, it didn’t matter if she knew you or not. Please pray for her and all of our family as we struggle to cope with this tragic accident. Never forget to hug the ones you love or even say hi to a stranger. Visitation will be at Baker Funeral Home, 634 S. Columbia Dr., West Columbia, Texas, on Thursday, September 10, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm.

Funeral services will be on Friday, September 11, 2015, at 10:00 a.m., at Brazos Pointe Fellowship, 679 Hwy 332 in Lake Jackson, Texas. A private burial will follow at Restwood Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Scott Evans, Steven Evans, Danny Duke, and Jacob Clifton.
