Anita Berge Vinson was born on December 17, 1930 in Payson, Utah to John Nels Berge and Veda Stark. The family moved to Coalinga, California around 1938. Anita attended Coalinga Schools where she graduated from Coalinga High School in 1949. She continued her education at Brigham Young University where she earned a degree in accounting. This propelled her career forward in her work for L.D. Folsom, Coalinga Feed Yard, La Questa Verde, and West Hills College before she retired. Anita married Junior Vinson in 1955. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by 3 daughters; Betty Artis and Debra Alavarez of Coalinga, Linda Jordan of Cool, California; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
