

Born in Ossining, New York, he and his wife Gloria moved to Merritt Island in January 1987.
Mr. Secor was a member (and former elder) of Faith Lutheran Church.
He chose a career of club management and managed six very prestigious country clubs on the East coast. Upon retirement, he took a part time position with the board of education as a school bus driver. He truly loved this job and at times, his former students have visited Bill at his home and brought their young families. He enjoyed volunteer work over the years, and was a certified arbitrator for the state of Florida, Guardian Ad Litum, Scoutmaster, active church committee member, and foster parent for twenty nine children. He served in the military police in the Korean War and received the distinction of being one of the first to achieve certification in the Club Managers Association of America.
Mr. Secor leaves his wife of 58 years, Gloria. His three children, John of Bradenton (Jan), FL; Jeanne Stagi of Titusville (Joseph), FL; James Secor of Bellingham, MA, Carrie Secor (Mother of Kyla and Garrett) four grandchildren, Renee (Adam) Suarez and Stephen Stagi, Kyla (John) Murdock and Garrett Secor and 1 great grandchild, Caleb Suarez.
Friends will be received at the Faith Lutheran Church (280 E. Merritt Ave, Merritt Island, FL 32953) on Saturday, December 17, 2016 from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m.
A Memorial Service will be held at Faith Lutheran Church on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Faith Lutheran Church’s general fund.
