

Carol will be lovingly remembered by her husband Richard James Wittman and her adopted sister Lynda Hannon.
She was a loving mother of 3 children Carolann Felicia Catalano Poole, Susan Antionette Catalano Matthews, Thomas Kenneth Catalano (Gwendolyn Kaye Bishop Catalano). She was also a stepmother to Cynthia Kaye Wittman and Janice Lynn Wittman Lyles. Carol was blessed with five grandchildren Jared Clayton Poole, Joseph Christopher Matthews (Ivonne Alexis Castano-Matthews), Michel Rome Catalano, Mariah Paige Catalano, and Melissa Danielle Matthews. Carol was also blessed with her step-grandchildren Sarah Elizabeth Foerch Poole and Jeremy Daniel Poole (Ali Poole), Shauna Junee James Madison, Cassie Marie Orrill, Ashton Jay Madison, Isabelle Monet Madison. She was very blessed to have great grandchildren Kalin Jade Poole, Tucker Clayton Poole, Carter Isaiah Rumps, Milania Alexia Matthews, twins Josiah Eros Matthews and Silas Romeo Matthews, and Thomas James Coyne. Her blessings grew with step great grandchildren Reilly Foerch, Sophie Poole and Bennett Poole. Her adopted sister’s children were also a big part of her life Cindy Hannon, Lisa Hannon, Kimberly Hannon, Mark Hannon (JoAnne Hannon) and Michael Hannon (Sabrina Hannon) and her adopted sister’s grandchildren Olivia Hannon, Brandon Hannon, Emma Hannon, Rachael Hannon, Cassie Hannon, Austin Kirkland, Annie Kirkland and Abby Kirkland.
Carol was a true angel in disguise. A fun, kind, caring, compassionate and loving person with a beautiful smile and infectious laugh who was touched and loved by everyone she knew.
Carol was a Medical Secretary before her marriage to Romeo John Catalano (deceased) and after his death an Administrative Assistant to the State Attorney in Brevard County, an Administrative Assistant to the Public Defender’s office of the 18th Judicial Circuit of Brevard County and a Legal Secretary to Broon Law firm in Titusville, Florida. She also worked at the On Top of the World model homes in Ocala, Florida and volunteered for Hospice in Ocala, Florida and has volunteered many hours to the Catholic Church. She and her husband and her adopted sister Lynda Hannon also spent many years volunteering doing Mission work for medical missions in the Dominican Republic.
