He was born in Brooklyn, New York on July 10, 1945. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph Dominick Liantonio and Madeline Carol Gatke Liantonio, his wife Barbara Marks Liantonio, and his sister Madeline Liantonio Farino.
He is survived by his two sisters, Roseann Liantonio Koellner Nicol and Joann Liantonio DiBiasi, and his son Michael Liantonio (Karina), grandsons Nicholas and Christopher, and Michael’s mother Sheila Liantonio. He is also survived by stepchildren Bruce, Joey, Erica, Tara and James, and their children.
Buddy was an avid car mechanic and was always there to help anyone he could. He was retired from the New York City Sanitation department.
Buddy was a resident at Solaris Health, Merritt Island and was well known there for his good humor and generosity.
He will be greatly missed.
