A native of Sardis, Mississippi, Eugene moved to Florida when he was 17 years old. He worked for East Coast Lumber and Supply Company for more than
30 years. He also worked in construction and did roofing for several years.
Eugene is a member of the Zion Orthodox Primitive Baptist Church in Cocoa and also a member of the American Legion Post #176.
He enjoyed cooking, fishing, and playing dominoes.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Irene Jones. Eugene is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Dorothy Roberson.
Services will be Saturday, October 24th, 2015 at Zion Orthodox Primitive Baptist Church in Coao, with a visitation from
12-1pm and a funeral service following at 1:00pm.
