Gladys Louise Bailey

Gladys “Louise” Bailey passed away Thursday the 29th of December 2022, peacefully at her home. She was born in Stanford Kentucky on November 17, 1933. She met the love of her life William “Bill” Bailey and they were Happily married for 63 years. She was predeceased by her husband Bill Bailey. She leaves behind family and friends.

Louise grew up on the farm with her brothers and sisters in Kentucky. Louise began her career as a school teacher, however she spent most of her life supporting her husband Bill who was an entrepreneur. Together they were in the jewelry business, variety store business, insurance company business and finally developing one of the largest hospital and nursing home businesses in the country. Louise was a very loving and giving person. Together with Bill, they gave a great deal of money to various college and ministries around the world. She and Bill loved to travel and they spent many days traveling around the country in their motor homes, finally stopping at The Great Outdoors in Titusville Florida where they built their dream home. Louise loved to shop, go to nice restaurants with family and friends. She had many friends around the country and was always willing to help others in their time of need. She loved the Lord and spent a great deal of time studying her bible as well as taking college courses in religion. She and Bill were very instrumental in helping start the church at The Great Outdoors in Titusville. One of their favorite charities was Liberty College in Lynchburg Va. Louise was a very proud person who loved her family and friends, but most of all her Lord and Savior Jesus.

Services for Louise will be held at the Brevard Memorial Funeral Home in Cocoa Florida on Wednesday the 3rd of January 2023 at 10:30 a.m.
