Lenora Rock

Lenora Dale Rock, 94, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2014, at Culpeper Baptist Retirement Community in Culpeper, Virginia. She was born on December 9, 1919, in South Bend, Indiana to the late Raymond and Barbara Dale.

She grew up in West Palm Beach, Florida. Upon her marriage to Jerome C. Rock, she moved to San Diego, California and then to Titusville, Florida where she was a member of Saint Gabriel's Episcopal Church. She spent her last fourteen years in Culpeper, Virginia.

Lenora will always be remembered as a very positive and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, teacher and friend.

She is survived by her son, Peter Jerome Rock of Poway, California, his wife, Debby, and their children, Brittany and Rocky. She is also survived by her daughter, Judy Rock Mullins of Culpeper, Virginia, her husband, David, and their children and spouses, Shannon and John; Rob and Andrea; Ashley and Cody. Additional survivors include her great-grandchildren, Kylen, Claire, David, Jenny, Ian and Dana Rae.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome Cecil Rock; her brother, Howard Dale; and her sister, Lucile Haag.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home in Cocoa, Florida. A memorial service will be held at Culpeper Baptist Retirement Community in December 2014.
