Marie Gleason, 83, of Rockledge, FL passed away Friday, February 23, 2018. Born in Crailsheim, Germany, Marie moved to Ft. Meade, Maryland in 1955 after meeting and marrying her husband who was stationed in Germany at the time. In 1967, they moved their family to Brevard County and have remained residents ever since.
Marie worked as a cafeteria worker for nearly a decade before retiring to focus on her family. She lived her life with her relationship with Jesus guiding her and was strong in her faith. She was a member of the First Assembly of God of Cocoa. Marie loved gardening and could often be found tending to her roses. She loved to travel and frequently returned to Germany to spend time with her family. Her grandchildren brought such joy to her life.
Marie is survived by her husband of 63 years, Clarence Gleason; three children: Joann Cristensen, Anneliese Krenz, and Johnny Gleason, 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at First Assembly of God in Cocoa at 4:30PM.
