

Born in Aberdeen, North Carolina, Nancy was raised on a farm where she learned the values of hard work, resilience, and devotion to family that would guide her throughout her life.
Nancy shared 52 loving years of marriage with her late husband, Benny Garafolo. Together, their journey took them across the world and throughout the United States, building a life filled with adventure, dedication, and family memories. While living in Japan, they welcomed and raised their two sons, Chuck and Vince. After returning to the United States and settling in Oklahoma, they were blessed with their daughter, Vickie.
Over the years, Nancy and Benny also made homes in Missouri and Montana before finally settling in Florida, where Nancy retired from McDonnell Douglas after many years of dedicated service.
Nancy will be remembered for her strength, kindness, and unwavering love for her family. She found joy in simple moments, treasured time spent with loved ones, and carried warmth and grace wherever life led her.
She is survived by her daughter, Vickie Matthews; her grandchildren, Angie Armellini, Anthony Garafolo, and Mark Lund; and her great-grandchildren, Aidan Armellini, Coral Lund, and Mark Lund. She also leaves behind many cherished memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Nancy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Benny Garafolo, and her sons, Chuck and Vince.
Her love, strength, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A Graveside Service will be held at Cocoa Memorial Park and Cremation Gardens, 320 Spring Street, Cocoa, FL 32927 on May 23, 2026, at 10:00 am.
