

He was born in East Windsor, New York, on October 31, 1926 to his parents John Vincent Dibble and Minnie Elizabeth Hubbard Dibble.
In younger years, he was active with the Boy Scouts, and he was very proud his sons and grandsons are all Eagle Scouts.
Norman was in the Army Air Corps during WWII.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 0571, Windsor, New York; the Lions Club; the National Ski Patrol; and Friendship Force. He founded the Windsor Chapter of Dollars for Scholars. He also was a member of Zion Episcopal Church, Windsor, New York. He participated with EAA Chapter 866 at the Arthur Dunn Airpark in Titusville, Florida.
Norman was one of the first members of the Southern Tier Ultralighters of New York State, Club 066.
He was one of the participants encouraging the building of the Windsor Swimming Pool. He was instrumental in connecting the Windsor phones to the Binghamton/Johnson city area. He was a supporter of the Friday Night Music on the Green in Windsor.
Norman retired from IBM after 35 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Elizabeth Harding Chase Dibble and son Peter Harding Dibble.
Norman is survived by his son John Ty Dibble (Dianna); daughter Wendy Carter Smith (Barry); son Ben Dibble (Beth); granddaughter Adrienne L. Dibble; grandsons Peter L. Dibble and William C. Dibble; brother Vincent Dibble and Rayma Wilson dearest companion of 20 years.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2014 from 1:00PM-2:00PM at Zion Episcopal Church, 50 Chapel Street, Windsor, New York 13865. Following this, a Memorial Service will take place from 2:00PM-3:00PM at Windsor United Methodist Church, 56 Chapel Street, Windsor, New York 13865.
