ROBERT G. HANSEN - TITUSVILLE - Bob Hansen, 89, passed into eternal life on Wednesday, December 13, 2017. He was surrounded by loving family. Bob was born in Abington, Pennsylvania in 1928, and graduated from Abington High School. Bob was a WWII veteran and Paratrooper. Bob married the love of his life, Pat, May 21, 1949. Bob and Pat moved to Brevard County in 1987. Bob worked for Bell of PA until his retirement, and then purchased a local pub, Pop’s Place, that he ran until moving to Florida. Bob was an avid golfer and sportsman and was proud of his club championships at Sandy Run Country Club in Oreland, Pa and at La Cita Country Club in Titusville, Fl. Bob was devoted to his loving wife Pat for 59 years until her death in 2008. Bob was a gentle and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be remembered for his strong faith, sense of humor, forgiveness, kind spirit, and most importantly, his unconditional love. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Sally; his loving wife Pat, son David; daughter Joanne; and 5 siblings. Bob is survived by his son, Rob; daughter-in-law, Karen; daughter, Elaine; son-in-law, David; granddaughters, Becky, Lauren, Ali and Kelly; grandsons, David, Zachary and Kyle; great-grandchildren, Kate, Cole, Lily, Savannah, Juliette, Brooks and Christopher, and brother Earl. A celebration of life will be held in the Spring when his ashes will be interned with Pat’s at George Washington Memorial Park in Plymouth Meeting, Pa.
