She was born in Columbus, Georgia. on January 30, 1957.
She is preceded in death by siblings, William Eddie Martin and Johnnie Mae Huff.
Sandra's survivors include her loving husband of thirty-three years, Marlin; sons David Burkett, James Burkett, and Eddie Burkett, Eugene Gibson, beloved daughter, Dawn Gibson Fox, and grandson Alex Fox, as well as a sister, Barbara Dearman.
Sandra gave up her fight against multiple sclerosis after years of struggle. She is finally at peace.
