

Rosemary Wilber, 86, of Girard, passed away at the Community Health Center of Branch County. She was born January 20, 1927 in Girard Township to William and Frances (Aman) Helmer. She married Monroe Wilber on July 3, 1946 in Angola, Indiana. He preceded her in death.
Rosemary lived most of her life in Girard. Her family meant everything to her. She always wanted to take care of others and she was ‘grandma’ to many children at the Girard Elementary School. She loved to shop and play Bingo. She also loved her church.
She is survived by her children; ‘Butch’ (Violet) Wilber, Denny (Marie) Wilber, Garry (Robbin) Wilber, Robin Cummins, Terry (Karen) Wilber, 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, a sister, Eva Smith, several nieces and nephews and many, many close friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; Monroe Wilber, her parents, son; Scott, son-in-law; William Cummins, grandsons; Adam & Brian Cummins, Ben Merritt, 2 great grandsons; Benjamin Merritt, Lincoln Wilber, sisters; Marguerite Cole, Agnes Smith and Frances Smith.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 12, 2013 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Putnam Funeral Home in Coldwater. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Church of Christ, 43 S. Hudson Street, Coldwater with Pastor Gene Cobb officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Girard Township.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the First Church of Christ.
