Michael B. Phillips, 63 of Clayton, NC died Wednesday, June 14th at Transitions Life Care. He was born in Marietta, GA. He was a graduate of Forest Park High School ’71. Michael retired from the United States Postal Service. He was preceded in death by his twin Mark C. Phillips and his father W. Wesley Phillips. He is survived by his mother Shirley Allen Phillips, his siblings, Timothy W. and Deborah Phillips, Pamela P. Griffith, Christopher P. Phillips, Steven W. and Julie Phillips, and Paige P. and Tony Bright, 11 nephews and nieces, 2 great nephews and 1 great niece.
Visitation for Mr. Phillips will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in College Park, GA on Tuesday, June 20 from 10 to 11 am. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday following the visitation at 11 am. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org or the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org.
