Claire as she preferred to be called was a retiree of MARTA, serving the public as a bus driver for over twenty years. She was an amazing cook and enjoyed preparing country dishes and desserts for family and friends. She had quite the green thumb and often prepared vegetable dishes from her own garden. Her ability to plant and grow a beautiful array of flowers, made her yards the envy of the neighborhood wherever she went.
Claire lived her final years at The Regency House in Decatur, GA. She enjoyed her senior living community and made many friends. She spent many days enjoying dining with other residents, playing bingo, blackjack or singing along to entertainers that visited the community. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
