Jim Hudson, engineer, inventor and owner of Aggieland Depot entered into rest on September 1, 2010 at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Saturday, September 4, 2010 at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Bryan. Interment will follow at Memorial Cemetery of College Station. Visitation will be from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 3, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in College Station.
Jim was born July 19, 1940, the son of Mina Lee Farrington and J. Elmore Hudson. Jim was an avid supporter of the Texas A&M Corp of Cadets, and the Boy Scouts of America, serving as a Scout Master in the Circle Ten Council and the Order of the Arrow, Lodge 101 and was a Ham Radio Operator.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents and an infant daughter, Marjory Lee Hudson.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Ann Hudson; children, Mr. & Mrs. James E. Hudson III, Elizabeth Ann Hudson, Mr. & Mrs. Michael Alden Hudson, Mr. & Mrs. Matthew Edward Hudson; eight grandchildren, Audrey, James, Kyle, Madison, Rachel, Paige, Hailey and Sean; and a step granddaughter Serena
