To our dear Kirsten,
We think of you always.  You are never out of our thoughts even now 3 years, 6 months and one week since we lost you.  Everything is different now, holidays, vacations, even waking up each morning because you are not here.  Our broken hearts are hidden by the smiles we put on our faces but the pain and loss of you is forever a hole in our lives and in our hearts. To Kirsten's Family and Friends,
I am Reverend Mattie Criddell, I had the opportunity to work with Kirsten here at Prairie View A&M University for a few weeks as she was an intern in the Student Counseling Services Department. She was an increditble young woman and made an impression on all of us. She shared with us her passion for counseling and helping others. I had an opportunity to share with her that my daughter was ingaged and to be married February 16, 2013. On the final day of her internship she said good by and she hoped I would enjoy the wedding. Who could have ever known that was to be our final goodby and she would leave this earth the week before my daughters wedding. My heart is broken but I know that God is in control of all things at all times, we may not understand his ways but he is always near to comfort us. My prayer ministry have been praying for her family and we continue in prayer for God's comfort in the days, weeks, months and years to come. I can only image how much you miss her but I believe her smile and her spirit will always live in our hearts. I knew her for a short while but I will always remember her and when I do I will also remember to pray for you. In His Love, Rev. I was totally shocked to hear the tragic news and I cant begin to express my sorrow at your loss. Kirsten will be deeply missed by the meaning centered community (Logotherapy) in Houston.  She was  a vital part of our small group.  She was so full of curiosity about and zest for life.

Dear Karla oreste, I got to kno w just now of your great loss. I remember Kristen when we met for a drink at Hamrun she was only about 10 so beautiful. I can imagine your grieve and I hope that in some way my prayers will ease it . There is nothing more terrible than losing a daughter an emptiness that noone can fill. May she rest in peace . To me, Kirsten was a brilliant student, a courageous soul, and a wonderful friend. She was and will always be a delightful reminder of the earnestness of whatever it is we do, constantly trying to make this world, to make this community a better place.
