Maria Isabel Vigil

Maria Isabel was born in Joya De Luna Cerritos, San Luis, Potosi, Mexico. She had duel Mexico and U.S. citizenship, of which she was very proud. Maria Isabel was the daughter of Jose Estrada Garcia and Maria Dolores Ladesma Sanchez.

Maria Isabel was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by her five children, Maria and her husband Andreas from Georgia, Mario and Rosalinda of Navasota, Texas, Arturo and Alfonso of Mexico and Elvia and Frank Bumba of Bryan, Texas. She also leaves twenty-two grandchildren and countless great-grandchildren.

One of fourteen children, Maria Isabel has two sisters and three brothers still living. Her days were spent praying for her children to come to know the Lord through salvation like she had. Loving to spend her days reading her Bible, Maria Isabel also loved cooking and taking care of her plants. She will always be in our hearts and will be dearly missed.

A special thank you to Brazos Valley Hospice and all of their nurses and everyone who took care of Marie Isabel. They went above and beyond to take care of her with love, dignity, and respect.

A visitation for Maria Isabel will be held Tuesday, February 20, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Memorial Funeral Chapel - College Station. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at 11:00 am at the funeral home in College Station. Reverend Teo Cisneros will officiate. Interment will follow at Memorial Cemetery of College Station.
