On March 21, 2024 Patsy Jean Boyd joined her husband Charles, parents, Gus and Naomi, and brother, Fred, in Heaven. She was born in Houston, Texas to Gus and Naomi Stoll. After graduating from Milby High School in 1952, she attended Texas Women’s University. She married the love of her life, Charlie in 1954 and celebrated 67 years together before his passing in 2021. She spent many years employed by Friendswood ISD and Conroe ISD as a Special Needs teacher. In her retirement, she volunteered with Meals On Wheels and at the Barbara Bush Literacy Foundation. She was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in College Station. Her greatest joy came from being a wife, mother, daughter, sister, Mimi and GiGi.
Patsy is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael W. and Elizabeth Boyd of Navasota. Son and daughter-in-law, John R. and Robin Boyd of Pearland. Five grandchildren, Laine Boyd, April Foskett, Ryan Boyd, Rachel Boyd and Allison Boyd. She had seven great-grandchildren. Sister-in law Sue Stoll, nieces Teresa and Jennifer. Sister-in-law Virginia Al-Rikabi, nephews Omar and Ramsey Al-Rikabi.
The family would like to thank the staff and residents of The Isle of Watercrest for providing care and friendship in Patsy’s last years. Thank you to Jo’s Peaceful Heart and it’s staff for their loving care in her last months. We appreciate the skill, compassion and dedication of Cheryl Foster, PA. Our gratitude to Alyssa Hunt and All Heart Senior Care and Placement for her guidance in our times of need. Traditions Hospice provide invaluable care and support.
