Patsy L Brewer

Patsy Lee Brewer, 78, of College Station passed away, July 27at Scott & White in College Station. A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 31 at First Baptist Church in College Station.

Patsy was born January 4, 1936 in Erick, OK, the daughter of Roy and Sarah (Pate) Spencer. She was a beloved mother, granny and great-granny. Her greatest joy was all her “Babies.” Patsy was a long time member of the First Baptist Church in College Station. Granny was a pillar of strength and a beacon of love for those that knew her. She taught each of us how to love and care for other people. She was a shining example of selflessness. Her family is happy she gets to be reunited with so many of her loved ones in Heaven. Her legacy lives in the actions of those she loved. She taught us to love with all of our hearts and souls and within us, that is where she will always be felt. She will be missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Brewer; three brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include her son, Ron J. Brewer; three grandsons, Mark Brewer aka JMark and his wife Shari, Jake Brewer aka JMark and his wife Missy, and Evin Brewer; nine great-grandchildren Ashton, Carter, Reese, Addison, Ty, Lexi, Megan, Mallory, Madison; and two sisters, Sharon York and Ruth York.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the First Baptist Church in College Station.
