

Allen Wayne Roush was known as many things to many people. He was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew him best, Allen will be remembered as a very exceptional person.
He was the son of Darrell and Barbara Roush.
Allen was raised with two sisters, Sherryl and Coralee and one brother, James. Allen was usually involved in all sorts of activities with his siblings. He and his siblings shared many life experiences over the years.
A typical teenager, Allen had a fairly happy high school experience, making that critical transition from adolescence to adulthood. He graduated from L.D. Bell High School in Hurst, Texas. He enjoyed some classes more than others, having favorite subjects and teachers.
Allen worked hard to be a good father to his children and he did his best to fulfill their needs. Allen was blessed with one son, Colby and two daughters Laura and Samantha. Another blessing for Allen was the gift of one grandson, Indie.
Fortunately, Allen enjoyed what he did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Allen worked diligently and did his best to succeed in his career. After high school Allen had numerous jobs until he went to work for Lawn Doctors as a Lawn Care Specialist and later a manager. Allen always sought to be a team player, doing what was necessary in order to get the job done.
Allen enjoyed his leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. Allen loved fishing and camping and loved to be outdoors. He loved sports, had a green thumb, and was a bowling champion. He was content to enjoy his favorite pastimes alone but was also willing to share his interests with others.
Eventually Allen retired and enjoyed life with his cats. Even in retirement, Allen continued to stay in touch with his old friends while making plenty of new acquaintances. Allen was active in his new community and felt fulfilled with the opportunities retirement offered him.
Allen passed away on July 25, 2016 at his residence in Hurst, Texas. He is survived by his loving partner Tammy LaFond; children, Colby, Laura, and Samantha Roush; grandchild Indie Boyd; siblings, Sherryl Hofener and her husband Steve, Coralee Howse and husband Jeff, and James Roush and his wife Kiyomi and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Simply stated, Allen was an individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Allen leaves behind him a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life he touched will always remember Allen Wayne Roush.

Allen Wayne Roush, age 55 of Hurst, Texas passed away on Monday, July 25, 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents, Darrell and Barbara Roush. He is survived by his loving partner Tammy LaFond; children, Colby, Laura, and Samantha Roush; grandchild Indie Boyd; siblings, Sherryl Hofener and her husband Steve, Coralee Howse and husband Jeff, and James Roush and his wife Kiyomi and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Allen was born in 1961 in Duncan, Oklahoma. He graduated from L.D. Bell High school. After high school Allen had numerous jobs until he went to work for Lawn Doctors as a Lawn Care Specialist and later a manager. Eventually he retired and enjoyed life with his cats. Allen loved fishing and camping and loved to be outdoors. He loved sports, had a green thumb, and was a bowling champion. He was loved and will be missed.
