Nanny was born in Philadelphia, Mississippi on February 23, 1940 to Modene and William Holloway.
After her family moved to Oklahoma, she met and married the love of her life, Don “Paps” Hardage, when she was just 16 years old. They have been happily married for 65 years.
Nanny and Paps love to travel and go on road trips. They have been to all 50 states, and together, they have driven over 1 million miles across America!
If she wasn’t traveling with Paps, chances are she was shopping with her daughter Dana at Nordstrom or NBC (and notoriously returning a shirt or 2 the next day). Her favorite color was yellow, but she looked the best in light pink.
She also loved peanut butter and jam straight from the jar and would finish the whole thing in less than a week! She would always make sure the birdfeeder was full and that veggies were left out for the wild bunnies in the backyard. Nanny loved to walk around the park while talking on the phone with her cousin, Barbara, and her childhood best friend, Paula.
If there is a ladybug in sight, she and her mom sent it to say hello.
Every single person that met her instantly loved her. She had the biggest impact on so many people’s lives. She is, and will forever be, extremely missed.
We all love you with all our hearts.
She is survived by: her Husband, Don Hardage; brother, Billy Holloway and wife Joyce, of Stephenville; son, Eric Hardage and wife, Kellee, of Houston; daughter, Dana Feemster and husband, Tony, of Colleyville; grandson, Zac Feemster and wife Kaylyn; grandson, Jackson Hardage and wife Keely; grandson, Jared Hardage and wife Sasha; granddaughter Presley Feemster and fiancé, Kaleb Moody; granddaughter Macy Feemster and spouse, Alexander Wagner; and great-granddaughter, Millie Kay Feemster.
Ann Hardage will be laid to rest at Bluebonnet Hills Cemetery in Colleyville, TX on March 12.
