“Look at my eyes” so I know you heard me and you know I love you.
Be who you are and present a brave face, even when you are disfigured.
Cut the bananas for your fruit salad so they fit on your fork.
Organize your notes so you can study better and get good grades!
Take a big, juicy watermelon to the park and share it with the whole family, often.
Playing and singing with the children is more important than housework!
Drop everything to go to lunch together, and laugh out loud, even if others are watching.
Laugh at yourself, whether others are laughing with you or at you.
Love the unsaved with Christ-like love, or they will never know Him.
Don’t leave anybody out – for one day you might need to be included.
Heartache, even though you think a human being cannot possibly survive its onslaught, will not kill you.
Make it your priority to really listen and respond to others.
Sacrifice your day and your dollar to make others’ dreams come true.
If the question is, “Scrabble?”, the answer is always, “Yes!”
Always take a jacket, even if it’s 94* outside!
When you’re in DC, run for the tour bus so you don’t miss anything!
Let a child know how proud of them you are.
If you are a friend of my family, you are my family.
Raise others up so they can rise to your expectations.
Wake up every day with a song in your heart.
